Abstract can be submitted only after the delegate has registered for the conference.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission :

3rd APLCC invites delegates to submit scientific abstracts online for the conference. Please submit the abstracts in the prescribed format on our website http://www.aplcc.com. A special committee of experts shall go through the abstracts for quality, scientific content and relevance. Accepted abstracts will be presented in oral or poster presentation sessions during the conference – details of which will be intimated to the concerned delegates/ available on our website.

• Video presentations (surgical techniques, procedures, invasive procedures, teaching aids)

Important Dates

• Abstract submission deadline                                       : 31st August 2008.
• Acceptance notification will be provided after                 : 30th September 2008.
• Abstracts can be updated (late breaking abstracts) till    : 31st October 2008
• Last date for abstract withdrawal is                               : 30th September 2008

Abstract Submission Guidelines for Free / Award Papers (including videos) :

• All abstracts should be written, submitted and presented in English only.
• In each abstract, the name of the presenting author should be underlined.
• It is the presenting authors’ responsibility to ensure that permissions for copyright transfer and that of co-authors are obtained. Submission of the abstract will assume that such permissions are taken by the author(s). The Presenting Authors of accepted abstracts will also be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement.
• Selected abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings – which will be brought out as a supplement of an Indexed (pubmed) Journal.

Travel Grant :
A limited numbers of travel grants are available. Registered delegates, below the age of 45 years are eligible. A panel of international oncologists will select the most deserving applicants based on merit.

Invited faculty members can submit the extended invited abstracts and chapters for the educational book either by email (info@aplcc.com) or uploaded on the website.

Eligibility : Delegate must be registered for 3rd APLCC at the time of submission of the abstract. Students presenting papers need to submit a letter from the Head of the Department to be eligible for discounted registration.

Guidelines for making and putting up the Poster will be announced on the website.

Among the papers submitted for award session, the panel of judges will select most appropriate ones for oral presentation in the award session. Attractive prizes and Certificates await the winners.
