What is the registration fee?

How can I save on registration?
A 50% concession is given to members of the following associations ACS, AROI, CANSUPPORT, ESMO, GSI, IASLC, ISMPO, ICS, ISO, ICON, ISSLC, IACA, MOGA, ONAI, SIOG, and VCARE

Can I register online?
Yes. Online registration is available at the following link Registration Information
When your registration is successfully submitted, you will receive registration submission acknowledgement online and via e-mail. It acknowledges your request to register, and is not the actual registration confirmation. Your registration will be processed by APLCC staff within 48 hours of the funds being credited to our account. Then you will receive the final registration confirmation.
The submission acknowledgement message will include a temporary reference number. Please quote this number if you have any questions about your registration before you receive your registration confirmation letter in the mail.

Can I register for the conference by telephone?
No, registrations must be sent, in writing, preferably online.   

What are the accepted forms of payment for registration?
You can pay with a MasterCard, Visa, money order, bank transfer, or cheque
You will receive your permanent registration number only when the funds are credited to our account

 Is there a registration deadline?
Yes, the last date for standard registration is 31st Oct 2008. Thereafter spot registrations will be accepted which will be available from 1st of December 2008 onwards  

How do I find out where my session is located?
The details and locations of the various sessions will be provided on our website as well as in the conference kit, which will be available at the venue  

Can the information/conference materials provided at the conference be purchased?
Attendees will receive the conference materials with the delegate kit. Additional copies can be purchased on site (subject to availability).  

Do I have to register in advance or can I register on-site?
Though you can register on the spot, we strongly discourage "walking in" as you will not be guaranteed materials or seating. It is best to register in advance.

 Are there discounts on multiple registrations?
Yes, for non-industry/ non-pharma groups of 10 or more, contact us for details.

What do I need to know as a presenter at Annual Conference?
All 3rd APLCC presenters shall be mailed the APLCC presenter Guide. This will have information on conference venue, registration, session rooms, audiovisual equipment, and handouts. This information will also be posted on the website.

I am a presenter, do I have to register?
1. All delegates who want to submit free abstracts must register for the conference.
2. Complementary Registration is provided ,only for the invited faculty

How and when will I find out if my Abstract has been accepted?
Primary Presenters will be notified of their acceptance after 30th September 2008 via email. If you donot hear from us by or before 31st October 2008, please email us at info@aplcc.com.

Whom should I contact regarding Abstract questions or changes?
Abstract questions should be sent to:  abstracts@aplcc.com
Please go through the abstract submission guidelines at the following link Abstract anagement , before sending us any mail as that has answers to most of the FAQ's on abstracts
In case of difficulty, you can also send email to info@aplcc.com.
Submitted abstracts can be updated till 31st October 2008 using your username and password, which will be provided to you on submission. No changes are permitted after this date.

Who all can apply for a Travel Grant?
A limited number of Travel Grants are available. Registered delegate who submits an Abstract, can apply for a Travel Grant if they are under the age of 45. A panel of International Oncologists will select the most deserving candidates solely on merit.

 What are the different forms of Presentation?
Presentations can be Oral, Poster and Video. Please refer to the following link Abstract anagement for guidelines for different forms of presentation. Submission of an abstract does not guarantee that the abstract will be accepted. This will be decided by an expert panel solely on merit. Opportunity for oral presentation will be given to abstract that meet standards set by the expert panel.
If you want your abstract to be considered for the award session, please indicate the same at the time of submitting the same.

What is a guest pass?
APLCC provides a guest pass for entry to the Exhibition Area. The Exhibits-Only Guest Pass allows access to the Exhibit area only. Participants purchasing this pass will not be allowed access to scientific sessions. They will also not be entitled to the delegate kit, conference bag, conference meals or any other material. Passes can be purchased after September 2008.  

If I am unable to attend, what is the cancellation policy?
After registration, if you are unable to attend the 3rd APLCC Conference, please notify APLCC in writing, preferably by e-mail as soon as possible. For all such requests received on or before 15 November 2008, a 50% cancellation fees will be charged. If you cancel after 15 November 2008, no refund is possible. All refunds will be processed 30 days after the conference is over.
Up to 15 November 2008, it is also possible to transfer this registration to your colleague for a nominal administrative fee of US $ 15. We encourage you to send someone in your place. To do so please write to info@aplcc.com

Can I earn academic credit for attending?
MORA points will be available to registered delegates (from ESMO).Details will be available online very shortly.   

When will I receive my program book and name badge?
Conference program books and name badges will be given at the conference venue.

What is the conference dress attire?
Business attire or business casual is the recommended attire. December weather is usually  very pleasant in Hyderabad.

What options are available for vacationing with family at or near Hyderabad? 
Hyderabad has many tourist attractions for sightseeing and various options for shopping. It is also very well connected to the rest of India. You could easily make a trip to the world famous Taj Mahal, Beautiful Kerala (also known as God's own country), Goa ,Palaces of Rajasthan and many other tourist destinations of India. Which meals are included in the registration? 
Your registration includes Friday (5th Dec’08) lunch and dinner, Saturday (6th Dec’08) breakfast, lunch and gala dinner and Sunday (7th Dec’08) lunch. Tea / coffee will also be served on all days

Will there be a Spouses’ Program?
A very exciting and fun filled spouses’ program is being arranged. Some of the sessions planned are may include Sari Tying sessions, Mehendi Sessions, Indian Cooking sessions and Yoga. More details will be available online very soon.

What opportunities for exhibiting and advertising are there at the APLCC Conference? 
We expect a large number of Indian and foreign delegates for this year's 3-day conference. Can we bring additional staff for manning the booths? 

The sponsorship brochure specifies what facilities are being provided to our sponsors. Specifically those assigned booths are eligible for limited passes to the exhibit area. If you need to bring additional staff, we will be happy to make available guest passes for purchase after September 2008. .
